TUI signs up as BSAC travel partner
Tie-in with holiday firm provides generous baggage allowance
TUI is set to become a BSAC Travel Partner next year.
The British Sub-Aqua Club’s travel partners bring in exclusive deals and offers pitched towards the diving holidaymaker.
German-owned TUI Travel PLC operates a range of sub-brands, of which Thomson and First Choice are best known in the UK.
Thomson organises a range of holidays to popular destinations including the Red Sea and Mediterranean.
Further afield, diving locations include the likes of Aruba, Mexico and the Maldives.
To kick things off, TUI is offering an extra 200-pound discount to the first ten BSAC groups to book a holiday with them.
BSAC members should also look out for other perks too, such as an extra 5kg luggage allowance for diving gear.
TUI has even dipped its toe into the dive school business. It owns the award-winning dive company Ocean College in Egypt, for example.
