Hollis Prism 2 begins shipping
Tasty new fully closed unit for discerning techies
The all-new Hollis Prism 2 rebreather begins shipping to dealers Stateside later this month.
The Prism 2 will appeal to the discerning technical diver, since it’s a fully closed circuit CCR with electronic wizardry aplenty.

In use, the wearer can opt for either electronic or manual control of the PPO2. The scrubber is centrally mounted, making the Prism 2 a fully symmetrical design.
Hollis says the new unit offers an easy breathe, with low resistive effort and low hydrostatic loading.
Counterlungs are shoulder mounted, and the rig comes as standard with primary LED metering in a Head Down Display (HDD) layout. There are also electronic secondary controls.
All of the electronics are environmentally sealed in the factory during production.
Prism 2 owners receive a backplate and wing as part of the setup, meaning the CCR comes pretty much ready to dive. Tanks and valves are available to order when purchasing.
Dealers in the US are taking orders for the Prism 2 rebreather now. Hollis UK says it should hit the European market in late June or early July, with prices announced nearer the time.
