A full colour map on your wrist
Range of maps now available for Mares Icon HD dive computer
Mares is introducing full-colour maps for the Icon HD dive computer.
There’s a large catalogue of 270 maps already available, with more on the way.
covers popular dive sites in Italy, Red Sea and more
Mares says that each month customers can download a new map, free of charge, directly from its website.
The colourful dive site maps are produced by ART TO MEDIA, a design company with a reputation for developing 3D dive maps of worldwide dive sites. It has partnered with Mares to create dive maps specifically designed for the Icon HD computer.
Downloadable wrist maps for the Icon HD so far cover popular dive sites in Italy (Mares’ home turf,) the Red Sea, Caribbean, US regions and many more.
We’re poorly represented though and the UK doesn’t even appear in the list. When Mares sees the light and adds Icon HD maps of British dive sites, you’ll be the first to know…
