DUI purchases OMS
Acquisition brings together two technical brands
US based drysuit manufacturer has DUI has purchased Ocean Management Systems, better known as OMS.
DUI (Diving Unlimited International) of San Diego completed the deal earlier this week.
The new company will officially be called Ocean Management Systems GmbH and will be based in Germany.
Susan Long, DUI’s President and CEO said: “The OMS brand is recognized worldwide with a solid reputation.
“Our goal is to bring divers the quality products they have come to expect from OMS combined with DUI’s reputation for exceptional customer support. Our partner, BtS, will do the same for divers throughout Europe.
“We will be working hard over the next couple of months to streamline the OMS product line with a release in early 2015.”
DUI will be distributing OMS throughout North America, Central and South America, Australia, Korea and Japan.
Sister company BtS will distribute OMS equipment throughout Europe, Russia and China.
