Specialist kit manufacturer Kent Tooling has come up with an alternative to the Wingnut.

Its latest innovation is the Dome Nut, a low profile fastener requiring no washer.

Up to now, Wingnuts are typically used to mount a wing to a single or a twinset.

However, these can scratch fingers or otherwise catch themselves on equipment, particularly when your mind is gearing up for a challenging dive.

Milled from Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel, Kent Tooling’s new Dome Nuts are available to buy now.

Representatives from Kent Tooling will present their latest catalogue at the forthcoming Dive Show at the Birmingham NEC on October 22nd.
